DAYTONA BEACH, Florida — Easter weekend was a busy one in ASA Racing. Several ASA Member Tracks and Series were in action. Here is a quick recap to who won over the weekend.

Here are the winners from our ASA Sanctioned Series...

Taylor Miinch made it two wins in a row in the ASA Truck Series on Saturday. The popular trucks in the Southwest challenged the West Track road course at Firebird International Raceway in Chandler, AZ. Cameron Jocelyn was second with Kevin Donahue in third.

It was a busy weekend for ASA ProAutoSports at Firebird International Raceway. Over 250 cars were in attendance. Winners in the Closed Wheel divisions were: Bob Gottlieb (GTO), Bobby Hillis (GTR), Jay Horak (PS0), Carl Scott (PS2), Leroy Moore (PS3), Rob Ashley (PS4), John Devine (Street Stock Miata), and Jeff Bawdin (Street Stock Mustang). In the Open Wheel divisions: Michael Williams (FC), Kelly Gallant (CSR), William Tait (EFF). And in the Kart divisions: Dave Fultz (Super), Bill Pyles (Shifter), Pete Wendler (Spec) and Trisha Maes (TAG).

Austin Newmark's win streak in the Bondurant Championship Race Series sanctioned by ASA ended in the first of three race events last weekend. The Series competed on the West Track at Firebird International Raceway in Chandler, AZ. Newmark finished second in the first race as Dylan Albani won that event. But Newmark came back to win the second and third race to start a new win streak. Albani finished second in the second and third races. Ryan Winchester finished third in all three events.

Many ASA Member Tracks were in action this past weekend. Here is a look at the winners in track alphabetical order.

Ace Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Altamahaw, NC was rained out on Friday night. They will look to get going again this Friday night.

Corpus Christi Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Corpus Christi, TX, had some great action on Saturday night. Winners include: Josh McCain in the Front Runners, GB Carter in the Texas Thunders, Joe Arce in the Bombers, Cody Britt in the Super Streets, and Cody Beddoe in the Sport Mods.

Desoto Super Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Bradenton, FL, had a full racing program this past Saturday night. Winners were: Joshua Todd in the Open Wheel Modifieds, Michael Crooks in the Bombers, Darrin Ellis in the Pure Stocks, Gary Brown Jr. in the Mod Minis, Mark Jackson in the Trophy Dash Cars, and Robert Bass in the Dwarf Cars.

Jimmy Herrington dominated all 50 laps to win the Super Truck feature at Dillon Motor Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Dillon, SC, this past Saturday night. Wayne Edwards held off Chris Brown to win the Rolling Thunder Modified feature event.

John Sofield, Jr was the winner in the Mini Cups while Hayes Goodson won in the Street Stocks. Michael Tucker held off Kevin Jackson to win in the 4-cylinders. William Haynie won in the Chargers and Bill Pearce was the winner in the UCARS.

At East Bay Raceway Park, an ASA Member Track in Tampa, FL, it was Mark Whitener taking the win in the Late Model division. Austin Sanders picked up his third win in four features in the Open Wheel Modified division. Darrell Taylor won his first feature of the year in the Bomber main event. That was after apparent winner Troy Dittebrand was disqualified for an illegal right rear tire. Jeff Rodgers celebrated his 24th wedding anniversary by winning the Street Stock main event. Lars Amundsen was the winner in the Old Time Modifieds.

Cory Sweatman made a late race pass on Jay Biggs to win the Hobby Stock main at Grays Harbor Raceway, an ASA Member Track in Elma, WA, this past Saturday night. Chris Beaulieu held off Randy Ward to win the Modified A-Main. Henry VanDam was the winner in the 360 Sprints A-Main by holding off Reese Goetz for the win. Cliff Gill won the Hornet main event.

Over at Havasu 95 Speedway, an ASA Member track in Lake Havasu City, AZ, Chase Catania won the Late Model feature event. Doug Humphries held off Rick Bezansen to win the ASA Street Stock feature. Blake Rodgers won the Bandoleros while Matt Caley won in the Factory Stocks. Sandy Price won in the Powder Puffs. Havasu also crowned three division champions last Saturday as well. Mike Sutterfield is the 2010-11 Champion in the Late Models. Rick Bezanson in the ASA Street Stocks and Breanna Nelson in the Powder Puffs.

Illiana Motor Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Schererville, IN, was rained out and have re-scheduled their season opener for this Saturday night.

Ryan Stiltner and Kevin Wolfe each won a feature event in the Charger division this past Saturday night at Lonesome Pine Raceway, an ASA Member Track in Coeburn, VA. Tommy Hess won in the Street Stocks while Freddie Taylor Jr. won in the Mod 4's. Mike Breeding won in the Renegades and Hayden Woods in the Legends.

Sierra Jackson took home the win in the Winged Sprint division this past Saturday at Meridian Speedway, an ASA Member track in Meridian, ID. Kelly Newman won in the Sprint Cars while Art Heath was the winner in the Hornet division. Rex Reeve won in the SPI Sprint Cars and Chris Fenton was the big winner in the ASA Modifieds. Defending champion Tom Hill was second.

Newport Motor Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Newport, TN, had a great crowd and car count for their racing program this past Saturday night. Shane Higgins won in the Late Model Sportsman with Johnathan Smith winning in the Street Stocks. Dean Slagle held off Dakota Slagle to win the Front Wheel Drive feature. Stevie Frazier was the winner in the Mod Four's and Justin Fontaine won in the Mini Cups.

Orange Show Speedway, an ASA Member Track in San Bernardino, CA, had a full racing program on Saturday night. Rob Kiemele held off a battle from Mark Schackleford to win the Super Late Model feature event. Brandon Loverock made it two-for-two in the Late Model division as he collected the win. Robby Hornsby Jr. won again in the Pony Stocks while Cliff Conklin won in the Super Stocks. Tony Forfa III won in the Factory Fours and Dave Foster won in Stock Cars USA.

Lana Chapman won the 100-lap Street Stock feature this past Saturday night at Red River Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Wichita Falls, TX. Ronnie Davis won in the Thunderstocks with Mike Wright winning in the Chargers. Justin Shrum won in the Hornets.

Josh DeWitt went wire-to-wire to win the 410 Sprint Main at Skagit Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Burlington, WA this past Saturday night. Danny Kirkpatrick ended a long winless streak to the 360 Main event. Steve Parker took home the checkered flag in the Sportsman Sprints and Rick Young finally wins his first ever Main event in the Outlaw Hornets.

Scott Adams held off Kenny Moreland to win the 35-lap Late Model feature at Virginia Motor Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Jamaica, VA, this past Saturday night. Todd Traylor won the Sportsman feature while Brian Maxey won in the Modifieds. Ryan Toole was the winner in the Limited Stock Cars.

Mike Longton was the Super Late Model feature winner at Yakima Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Yakima, WA, this past Saturday night. Buck Noel Jr. won in the Sportsman while Joe Stevens won in the Bump to Pass. Josh Washington was the winner in the Hornets.
