RCR at RIR ... Richard Childress is tied for fourth with Bud Moore and Joe Gibbs for car owner victories at Richmond International Raceway with seven - five with Dale Earnhardt and one with both Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer. Additionally, in 121 starts at RIR, RCR boasts 32 top-five and 58 top-10 finishes with nine different drivers, including Bowyer, Jeff Burton, Earnhardt, Jeff Green, Robby Gordon, Harvick, Ricky Rudd and Mike Skinner. Childress, a former driver on NASCAR's senior circuit, contributed three of those top 10s from 1976-1978.

The Collective RCR ... Over the season's first eight races, RCR's four NASCAR Sprint Cup Series entries have notched two wins, eight top-five and 12 top-10 finishes. The No. 31 team kicked off the 2011 season with a non-points win in the second Duel 150 qualifying race at Daytona International Speedway. Most recently, the No. 29 team visited Victory Lane at Auto Club Speedway in March and backed that up with a win the following weekend at Martinsville Speedway. RCR-prepared Chevrolets have also completed 9,353 out of 10,036 total laps (93.2 percent) with drivers Bowyer, Burton, Harvick and Paul Menard, who have led a combined 329 laps. At least one RCR driver has led laps in each of the season's first eight events.

Get to the Points ... Following the Cup Series race at Talladega, Harvick moved to fourth in the point standings where he is 27 markers in arrears to the top spot. Bowyer and Menard now sit 10th and 11th, respectively, placing Bowyer 22 points in arrears to cracking the top five and Menard just three points behind Bowyer's tally. Burton gained three spots, to 22nd, in the rundown and is now 10 markers behind Denny Hamlin in 17th.

Did You Know ... Chevrolet holds the record as the manufacturer with the most success at the 0.75-mile Virginia short track with 34 victories. RCR contributed seven of Chevy's wins.
