The 2011 AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series resumes Saturday at Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway in Hanford, Calif. and defending three-time champion Mike Spencer will try to extend his undefeated streak to four.
Spencer, of Temecula, Calif., leads David Cardey by 29 points, with Blake Miller only one point behind Cardey in the current standings.
It’s been four years since the last USAC/CRA Sprint race at Hanford, one in which Spencer and Cardey finished 16th and 17th respectively. Cory Kruseman won the 2007 race at Hanford.
