75 Mini Sprints invaded Deming Speedway’s 1/6 mile clay oval on EMD Construction / DK Diesel night and when all was said and done, multiple time track champion Brock Lemley left the large crowd speechless with stunning runs in both the 600 and 1200 divisions.

The Brock Lemley show finished the night off with a win in the Speedmart PMP 600 division. Starting from the pole, Brock went wheel to wheel with Liam Ryan until firmly taking the lead and streaking away on lap two. From there, Lemley sliced and diced his way through lapped cars like the SlapChop slices and dices onions on his way to the win. Dustin O’Brien took second and Ryan ended up third. Heat wins went to Hayden Schmidt, Robie Price, Larry Jenne and Cody Broulett. Brandon Turner was fast time. Derek Holmwood won the B Feature.

Jason Bloodgood has made the most of every opportunity he’s been shown in the 2011 campaign, winning his second wire to wire feature of the year in the 1200 division. Jason led all 25 laps with little challenge. Brock Lemley raced from eighth to finish second, along with setting quick time. Brad Davison finished a season best third. Heat race wins went to Bloodgood, Steven Hendrickson and Clennon Holloway.

Brayden Planko worked his tail off for his first feature win at Deming Speedway in the 600 Restricted class. Planko chased race leader Alden Ostrom around the super slick 1/6 mile clay oval, waiting for an opportunity to take the point. That opportunity came on lap 17, with Ostrom opening up the inside groove going into turn three. Planko seized the moment, diving hard inside Ostrom, forcing him into the slicker portion of the track and taking the lead for good as they came to the flag stand. Derrick Moss was second and Austin Sheridan third. Heat wins went to Ostrom, Jacob Brown and Rachel Westmoreland. Hannah Lindquist set quick time. Spencer Constance won the B main.

Isaac Abenroth won his third feature of the year out of four races in the Kasey Kahne Junior Sprints. After looking every which way for a path around early race leader Ashleigh Johnson, Isaac used a strong move around the outside of turn two to take the lead on lap four and the eventual win. Eli Schmidt was second and Johnson took third. Abenroth won a heat race, as did Lynden Lebedinski. Schmidt was quick time.
