
This Saturday May 21st, The All American Speedway will host its next championship point’s race with Bombers, Street Stocks, Modifieds, NASCAR Late Models and the Western Scale Racing Association (WSRA). Modifieds will have a 40 lap main, Street Stocks and Bombers will have a 35 lap main and the NASCAR Late Models will have twin 50 lap mains.

In the Late Model division the points are still in the early stages with three races. Matt Scott captured the win in the season opener and the points lead, currently 17 points over Jason Romero who holds two victories. Ron Chunn is third in the standing trailing Romero by just 10 points. Juan Pitta, fourth, and Chris Scribner, fifth, are both in close pursuit. Close racing action will happen this weekend as the division is set to compete with 2 main events 50 laps each.
The bomber division will enter their third points race with Chris Paulson sweeping the first two points races and leading the way in points with a 16 point lead over second place Erick Ray. Dana Kelly is four points from Ray and tied for third with Richard Perez. Matt Camp, fifth in points is only four points away from the tied drivers Kelly and Perez.
Street Stocks’ Chris Lambert has ran to the top of the charts with an impressive 20 point lead on second place Byron Gonzales. Richard Poppert Jr, third, is close to Gonzales by two points and is just six points over fouth placeh Mickey Owens. Joe Dahl, fifth, is shy of Owens by four points. With second through fifth so close in points, this weekend shall see some great racing action with Lambert looking to make three in row.
Scott Winters leads the way in the Modified division with capturing wins for the first two races gaining a 14 point lead over second place, Dan Jinkerson. Jinkerson has a 10 point lead over Andy Field, third. Field edges out fourth with a two point lead over Jim Miller. Jason Bamberg, fifth, is four points back of Miller.
