Clovis, California (June 27, 2001) Vince Little a "Natural" at Sears Point Vince Little driver/owner of the # 75 Southwest Tour Team is no joke when it comes to the road courses. In the Ultra Wheel Super Truck Series in '99 finishing 3rd at LA Street Race, 2000 winning the LA Street Race and in the new Southwest Tour Series finishing 11th was no joke.
"I just Love the roadcourse races and for some reason I feel at home. I don't know why because I only have raced 3 roadcourse events in my life". Vince is running a very limited schedule this year in the NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series due to a limited budget, but plans on running for Rookie-of-the-year in 2002 when he runs the full series.
"I am trying to do the best job for David Sunflower Seeds I can in the short amount of time in only running 5 or so races. We want to learn as much as possible in the races we go to so next year we can try to dominate the series. David Sunflower Seeds has been the best Sponsor and the friendships made there have been incredible, I can only hope for our continued partnership in the future".
Vince adds that his Crew Chief and friend Jack Bayer has been the force behind him this whole year. Vince says that Jack has put in more time and more effort in this team than even himself and owes a lot to him and his side kick Chris.
Vince and his team decided to bring back long time friend and past Crew Chief Ted Kennedy from North Carolina to help the team with Sears Point. "I feel that Ted was an extreme important part of our finishing 11th. Ted and Jack made the car very drivable and all I had to do was drive it. I was very excited to have both of them on my side. I especially like the fact that my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was on my side as well, because with god, all things are possible.
