Chowchilla California – $27,615.00 in prize money, bonus money and point funds are up for grabs for five race divisions in the 5th annual LunkerDaddy Tri-Holiday Classic.
The LunkerDaddy Tri-Holiday Classic began back in 2007 at the Madera Speedway, the series had a different sponsor back then, but it was known as a three race series that sported the red, white and blue proudly. It was also known as a series that put the best race car drivers head to head for an explosive, high paying three race series to produce a champion.
Some things have changed, like the series sponsor, and the fact that the series was moved to the dirt surface of the Chowchilla Speedway in 2009, but what has not changed is the fact that the racing is some of the best found on the planet, and the red, white and blue theme that runs through the series.
This year’s LunkerDaddy Tri-Holiday Classic runs at the Chowchilla Speedway and the Series kicks off this Sunday May 29th, race number two is July 3rd, and championship night is September 4th. Five drivers in five divisions will be crowned champions, the Sport Mods, Super Stocks, Dwarf Cars, Hobby Stocks, and the 4-Bangers. Each champion will earn a bonus check, and a custom Tri-Holiday Classic Championship jacket.
Drivers are entered from San Jose, Watsonville, Sacramento, Bakersfield, and from all over the state of California.
Adult tickets are only $11, youth 6-12 are just $7, and kids five and under get in for free for this great event! Pit gates open at 4pm, grandstands open at 5pm with racing at 6pm.
