BAKERSFIELD, Ca — Madera Speedway will host the richest ever SRL Legends Tour event on Saturday, June 25th. With total prize money for the Legends drivers at $3,600, the winner of this prestigious event will take home a record $1,200.

June 25th will be one of the marquee races on Madera Speedway’s 2011 schedule of events, as the event will also feature a Fourth of July Celebration Fireworks Show, a stunt show, ASA Truck Tour, LunkerDaddy Late Models, MST, Toyota Sedans, SRL Legends Tour, 4-Banger, Hobby Stocks and the headlining SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series.
“We chose Madera Speedway to host this event for many reasons. It’s a great track for the Legends Cars and geographically Madera is very central to our Legends drivers for both the northern part of the state, and the drivers from southern California and Las Vegas areas. It’s also a great way to continue our mission to raise the awareness of the Children's Hunger Fund.” stated the SRL’s Larry Collins
At nine of the ten SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series events of 2011, the “SRL Legends Tour” will compete on the same night at the same track as the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series tour cars.
The SRL Legends Tour next race event will be Saturday, June 4th at Stockton 99 Speedway.
