PRINCESS & PIRATE NIGHT AT WESTERN SPEEDWAY FEATURING DEMO CARS, TRUCKS, BOMBERS, MINI FIGURE 8’S, ROLLOVER & FIREWORKS

This Saturday Night at Western Speedway, IslandCarBuyer.com presents Princess and Pirate Night highlighted by a Rollover contest and a Giant Fireworks show. Demo Cars, Demo Trucks, Bombers, and Mini Figure 8's will also be in action.

Troy Tarbuck who leads the Demo Car point standings with 300 points will be gunning for his third main event victory of the year, Greg Sagmoen who holds down second position with 287 points has the other main event win and will be looking to win his second feature of the year, Joe Liberatore is a close third with 260 points. Kenny Baker sits in fourth with 117 points, Dakoda Hanson and Chris Romkey are tied for fifth with 111 points.

In the Demo Truck class Kevin Knight has a 31 point lead over George Haywood 294 to 263, Knight has recorded one win so far this year. Bruce Knight and Paul Scotthorne are tied for third with 261 points, while Rich Gerhardt rounds out the top five with 164 points. The hottest driver as of late is Richard Milne, after missing the first race Milne has won the last two features and will be going for three in a row this Saturday.

Third generation driver Brandon Steen leads the claimer class on the strength of two wins and one runnerup finish to lead the point standings, Steen leads Chris Stone by 3 points 275 to 272, Stone is the only other driver with a main event win. Aaron Cameron is 15 points behind the leader at 260, followed by Jarrod Sagmoen at 240 and Jamie Morgan at 221.

Kyle Rizok leads the Mini Figure 8 point standings 254 to 230 over Kail Beck, Beck has two main event victories so far this year. Rhett Szevics is in third with 200 points followed by Ashton Campbell at 186 and Cam Wilkinson at 183. Rory Smith is the other main event winner.
