Jason Fensler at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Jason Fensler will make his third start of the 2011 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race season on July 2 at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale. Fensler will again pilot the #59 Chevy of Team Cass Racing for the Toyota Dealers of Southern California 200 presented by King Taco, an event the team won in 2010 with driver Auggie Vidovich.

"I’m looking forward to getting back to Irwindale. "Jason Fensler

Fensler kicked off the 2011 points paying season by picking up his first win with the team at All-American Speedway in Roseville, California, then coupled it with a third place finish at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway just a few weeks ago. The team will be looking to build on that momentum when they enter their fourth start of 2011 at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale, which is the same track where Fensler made his first official start with the team during the Toyota All-Star Showdown (a non-points event).

Fensler’s last trip to Toyota Speedway at Irwindale was the 2011 Toyota All Star Showdown, a non-points event. Fensler was able to qualify seventh for the start, but an accident with only 20 laps to go took him out of the running and he finished 28th out of 37 cars. Still Fensler is optimistic about his return to the track, “I’m looking forward to getting back to Irwindale. The car was strong there for the Showdown. Roger Bracken and the team have done an excellent job all year preparing great cars. Las Vegas was another great success for us and I look forward to continuing with that progress. Irwindale, being a home track for Jim and Terri Cass as well as the entire Cass family, would be a great place to give them another victory. I truly look forward to seeing all of the supporters and fans of Team Cass Racing at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale.”

The July event is generally a sellout crowd for Toyota Speedway at Irwindale, with an exciting fireworks show topping off the night. This year will also include a hauler parade beginning at the Courtyard Marriot in Monrovia to the track, on Friday July 1st at 6 pm. And on Saturday you can meet Jason Fensler during driver autograph session starting at 5:45 pm.

Fensler and TCR are running a limited schedule for the 2011 season; however, sponsorship opportunities are available for the remaining 2011 schedule. The team plans to attend two more races, Roseville, CA in October and Phoenix in November. For more information, please visit or visit the team’s Facebook page
