
IRWINDALE, California — Jason Fensler driver of the No.59 Pick-n-Pull, Simple Green Chevy, for Team Cass Racing, wanting nothing more than to continue the momentum from his last race finishing in 3rd place from Las Vegas Motor Speedway">The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Practice set a positive vibe among the Team Cass Racing team in running second fastest. The excitement continued when Fensler qualified with a time of 18.626 putting him in a fifth position starting the race. The past few races, Fensler hadn’t qualified as well as he would of like to. “The idea is to keep it up there to position for a win, now that I qualified in the top ten,” claimed Fensler.

The race event began with every driver parading a single lap with a full sized American Flag. Next was the two lap to the green flag. The battles began right away, bringing out the first caution on lap 28, taking out the first two competitors of the evening. Fensler moved into third position by lap 43 racing hard. Michael Self of No.21 and Johnny Borneman of No.8 aggressively battled Fensler for the third position. A mandatory scheduled pit stop brought out the red flag on lap 100. Minor adjustments were made to Fensler’s car before going back out,
On lap 157, Fensler needed to pit for additional adjustments. Once back on track he aggressively raced hard from the back of the pack to get his original position back. Checkered flag brought out a top ten position for Fensler in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, West “Southern California Toyota Dealers 200” at Toyota Speedway of Irwindale. “Not what I wanted, but I’m glad there was no damage to the car, we were strong the first half of the race, but the second half the car didn’t like the adjustments till the last 20 laps.” ‘I would like to give special thanks Theresa Provolt of Simple Green for coming out to support Team Cass Racing for the event,” states Fensler after the race. Team owners Jim and Terri Cass shared, “We had a clean car, on the positive side, we got a top ten, came back from adversity, and I believe it was a very good learning experience for the team.” “We would also like to honor and thank all of our men and women that serve in the military on this National Independence Day holiday weekend.”
