This Saturday Night July 9th at Western Speedway, the Demo's will be back for some more SLAM BANG Action, and it keeps getting hotter as the Speedway will host its first ever School Bus race, along with the popular Mascot Night and highlighted by a huge Fireworks show all brought to you by Galaxy Motors and Wilson's Transportation.
In the Demo Car division, Mark Parkinson was the winner last time out followed by Kirk Peacy and Joe Libertore. Points leader Jarrod Sagmoen leads with 442 followed by Greg Sagmoen with 441, Libertore is in third with 402, followed by Kenny Miller with 255.
Kevin Knight will be gunning for his fourth win of the year in the Demo Truck division and leads the point standing by 40 points over George Haywood 460 to 420. Third place goes to Bruce Knight with 425 points, followed by Paul Scotthorne at 403 and Rich Gerhart with 308 points.
The top five in the Bomber points are only separated by a mere 36 points as leader is Chris Stone has 408 points, closely followed by Dennis Sagmoen with 404 points, Aaron Cameron 13 points back in third with 391, followed by last years champion Brandon Steen with 381 and Jamie Morgan with with 372 points.
The Mini Figure 8 Division points lead is currently held by Rhett Szevics with 399 points, in second place with 379 points is Kyle Rizok. Kail Beck follows three points back at 376 points, followed by Ashton Campbell with 363 and Doug Richens with 314.
The front gates open at 5:00 pm, qualifying at 6:00 and racing at 7:00 pm.

The next event at Western Speedway will be Friday July 15th and Saturday July16th as Richlock Rentals Presents the Cast Iron Nationaks for the popular WILROC Winged Sprint Cars, the WILROC Non Winged Sprint Cars as well as the Island Dwarf Cars will also be in action.
