
PORTLAND, Oregon — The American Speed Association/Northwest Sprintcar Racing Association (ASA/NSRA) makes its first stop for the 2011 Championship season at Douglas County Speedway, Roseburg, Oregon July 23rd for the Art Pollard Memorial. 2011 Championship points leader Matt Hein returns to his home track to exercise his hold on the series points lead over Sierra Jackson and Andy Alberding.

ASA/NSRA drivers make their fifth stop of the 2011 Championship season with the top three drivers separated by only twenty points. Matt Hein leads Sierra Jackson by just twelve points and 2010 series champion Andy Alberding by twenty points.
Douglas County Speedway is a 3/8’s mile eleven degree banked oval providing exciting side by side racing for the winged 360 sprint cars of NSRA.

These are open wheeled, winged sprint cars running on paved ovals utilizing 700 plus horsepower methanol-burning engines running on tracks that vary in length from quarter mile to five-eights mile facilities
