FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT BRINGS FREE ADMISSION TO MONTANA RACEWAY PARK

KALISPELL, Montana — Race fans from across the Flathead Valley and beyond will receive free admission to Montana Raceway Park this Saturday night as the first of two Fan Appreciation Nights takes place with support from Insty Prints and TTC.

Specials on Thomas Kemper Root Beer and Mike’s Hard Lemonade will be offered to all ladies in attendance with children’s bicycles being given away during intermission.

On track action features the CHS Legends Series, Flathead Beacon Bombers, Wanna Race Bandoleros and the Flathead Beacon Hornets.

Tyler Corpron continues to show the way in the chase for the 2011 CHS Legends championship. Coming off a victory on July 9, Corpron holds a 25-point lead on Dalton Halden and a 32 point gap on Devin Clayton with three races remaining in their season.

Flathead Beacon Bomber points leader, Chris Warburton, will be out to make it four consecutive main events as the No. 31 car has been the class of the field over the last month of racing.

Standing in Warburton’s way will be ‘Two Barrel’ Bill McCallum who runs second in the points standings, rookie of the year contender and third place in the driver standings, Kyle Koehler and Ray Young who picked up a main event victory in the division’s season opener back in June.

Kyle Bassler holds a 27-ppoint lead on Kyle Badour heading into this weekend’s racing for the Flathead Beacon Hornets. A mere 32 points separate third place driver Dennis Gallaway and Bassler with only a five-point gap between Gallaway and Badour.

The Denney brothers, Brock and Bryce, have been strong runners in the Wanna Race Bandoleros division but with three races left in the youth-based racing division, Todd Holleman has been gaining ground and now stands 35 points out of the championship lead heading into the weekend.

All spectator gate fees are waived on Saturday July 23 so fans are encouraged to grab their friends, neighbors and co-workers for a great evening of racing sponsored by Insty Prints and TTC. For more information log onto www.montanaracewaypark.com or call (406) 257-RACE (7223).
