On July 6th 2001 ktracingnascar.com and Puskarich Racing entered into a joint venture to field a Winston West Car for the two remaining races at Irwindale Speedway on July 21st and November 10th. Rick Grissom, a one time winner in the Super late Model Series at Mesa Marin in 2000 will drive the Chevrolet Monte Carlo number 68.
Both races will be televised on FOX SPORTS NET. Rick tested the
car on Friday night down at Irwindale Speedway and said "The car feels good
and I'm happy with it." As of July 10th no major sponsors have signed on to
sponsor the car.
