Racing returns to Lakeport Speedway this weekend for the crowning of the Champions in the Rental Solution Mini Stocks, The Clover Hydro Jammers, and the Taco Bell Bombers.
On the August 6th race the first champion for the Lake County Off Road Extreme Asphalt Outlaws was taken by veteran driver Charlie Collins of Lakeport Ca. Charlie had a very competitive year not only in the Outlaw division but in the Taco Bell Bombers and the Coors Light Modifieds. He was able to pull off two feature wins on a couple different occasion in the same night, with the largest being winning two mains on the Deake Lyndall Memorial Race, which had never been done at the speedway.
This weekend will feature a full action packed field of Coors Light Modifieds, Taco Bell Bombers, Clover Hydro Jammers, Rental Solution Mini Stocks along with another Robinson Rancheria Resort and Casino Boat Race to top the nights events off.
Come on out to the races for the last race of the season prior to the Lake County Fair. At the Lake County Fair this year we will be running Lawn Mower races on Thursday along with a Lake County Off Road Extreme Asphalt Outlaw race and then on Friday we will be running a destruction derby. All these events will take place in the Main arena during the fair and all is free with your paid admission to the fair.
