ANTELOPE, California — Eric Holmes, driver of the No. 20 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota Camry for Bill McAnally Racing and the NAPA team are heading to Spokane County Raceway in Washington. This will be the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West first visit to the ½-mile oval since 1979.

“I have been looking forward to racing at Spokane ever since I first saw it on the schedule,” said Holmes. “Spokane is a track that the series has only been to once and that was 32 years ago!”
Holmes is currently fourth in the chase for the series 2011 championship and only 2 points out of third. Thru eleven races this season, Holmes has six top-five finishes and eight top-tens.
“The BMR/NAPA Toyota team is ready to get back to short track racing where we have had a lot of success,” continued Holmes. “I love going to new tracks. I think there will be some great racing there and the team is fired up to bring home a win.”
The Spokane County Raceway (SCR) facility, founded in 1974, is located in the City of Airway Heights and boasts a drag-strip, half-mile oval track, and 2.5 mile road course.
The Spokane “200” is a two day event with the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West teams qualifying and racing on Saturday, September 3rd. Great seats are still available. The weekend’s race activities also feature a NW Early Stock race Friday night and a 100-lap Super Late Model race to kick off Saturday night racing before the main event, the Spokane “200”. Set your DVRs. The NKNP West Series race from Montana Raceway Park on Thursday September 1st and the race from Spokane County Raceway on Thursday September 8th. Both telecasts will be on SPEED at 6 pm ET. Check your local listings.
