West Valley City, Utah -- Rain postponed 3 main-events at Rocky Mountain Raceway’s Doomsday of Destruction, but fans were able to see the famous Doomsday Figure-8 Trailer races, Mascot Demolition Derby and the Hornet main event.

Labor Day racing opened on Saturday, September 3 with wins from #24 Jim Waters in the USAC Young Automotive Group Sprints, #49 Austin Luttmer in the Ford Focus Midgets, #20 Shake Rattle’ N Roll in the Western States Equipment Figure-8 Trains and #13 Tim Fahrner in the Super Stocks and Figure 8 Cars.
#33 Joshua Murray claimed the Hornet win on Monday, September 3 over #13 James Baity and #16 David Baity.
ASA Weekly Racing on the America First Credit Union Super Oval will continue on Saturday, September 10 with USAC Young Automotive Group Sprints, Maverik Modifieds, Mini Cups, Ford Focus Midgets and Hornets. Spectators that bring in 5 pounds of food for the Utah Food Bank will receive free spectator admission for up to 5 people.
