Greg Scheidecker won the NASCAR points race for the 2000 season for Late Models at the Orange Show Speedway last Saturday night, Aug. 26. Capturing the points championship at OSS was an amazing feat of persistence considering that Greg had only two first place finishes all season. But he combined his two first place finishes with 4 trophy dash wins, 11 top five finishes and 13 top ten finishes to become the season's Nascar points champion at OSS. Despite numerous evenings of heavy car damage, Greg and his hard working crew managed to have his car ready to race every night. Greg drives for JM Motorsports of Fontana, Calif.

Another of JM Motorsports' drivers, Jeff Murray, also had an excellent season at Orange Show Speedway. Jeff, who is himself the owner of JM Motorsports, had 5 first place wins out of 6 racing evenings. He also had 2 trophy dash wins this season. He finished 7th in the NASCAR point standings at OSS for the 2000 season. Jeff also drives and owns a Winston West car which he raced in front of his hometown crowd in May, 2000 in Fontana, Calif. He will be racing next at the Winston West race at Irwindale Speedway on Nov. 12, 2000.

With these two top notch experienced drivers in their corner, JM Motorsports has been an exciting racing team to watch at Orange Show Speedway this season!####
