It was the Todd Burns show at Irwindale Speedway on Saturday night before a near sellout crowd. Todd, driver of the #4 Villa Roma Sausage Company sponsored Chevrolet Monte Carlo Late Model, dominated the Automobile Club of Southern California twin 40-lap main events sponsored by True Value.

Todd qualified his Chevy fast time for the eighth time this year, but picked a 10th place starting position for the first main event.

As the field took the green at the stripe, Burns started picking off cars one at a time. By lap nine, he was leading the pack and was never challenged. At one point, Todd had a half track lead on the field. Burns took the checkered in the first main finishing almost seven seconds over the #10 of Deryk Ward with the #9 of Rick Miller in third. That victory would once again place the #4 on the grid in the 10th position for the second main event start.

The second main was a carbon copy of the first. Todd started on the outside of the fifth row and wasted no time getting to the front. Burns challenged the #94 of Doug McComb for a few laps before taking the lead by the halfway point. From there, it was all his. The checkered flew for the second time with the #4 Villa Roma Chevy taking the second main win for the night and the 100 points.

Burns, celebrating his victories with a burnout at the start/finish line, had ecstatic fans on their feet cheering him on for a job well done. Todd stated in his on-track interview, "I've just got to thank Villa Roma Sausage for sticking with us through thick and thin as well as SJ Burkhardt, Bill Maropulos Racing Engines, and Ron's Rear Ends. I also need to thank my incredible crew that works hard everyday to give me the best car possible and they did tonight. Our car was awesome tonight. I also want to thank all the fans for coming out."

Burns Motorsports/Villa Roma Sausage team's next race is August 25 at Irwindale Speedway.####
