Paul Stone picked up right where he left off last week by winning the 20 lap RACE Modified main event Friday night at Chowchilla Speedway. The third $300 feature win of the year for Stone came aboard his Stone Motorsports sponsored Larkins Modified. Jack Stanford settled for second ahead of Nathan Corn. Jerry O'Hagan tightened up the Hobby Stock point race by capping a clean sweep effort with his third 20 lap main event win ahead of Jay Connelly and Andrew Krumm. The Ladies Super Street Stock feature event was a flag to flag 20 lap feature victory for Sharan Costa ahead of Alisha Costa and Sheryl Stone. The night's action was spoonsored by Matt & Glass Race Car Bodies of Merced and O.K. Fire Systems of Gilroy.

Incoming Modified point leader Mark Hamblin got his night started off right with a six lap heat race win before holding off fellow heat winner Stone to win the four lap trophy dash. Unfortunately, Hamblin's car would not start for the main event and was pushed off the track during the pace lap. Stanford set the early pace ahead of Tim Sprotte. Nick Caughman Jr. gained second on a lap three restart, but he surrendered second to Stone on a lap five restart as title contender and three division racer Steven Williams retired from the race. Caughman spun off the track in Turn 3 for a lap seven caution flag. Stanford led the dueling Stone and Corn on the resatrt. A high move in Turn 2 of the 12th lap gained Corn second, and Marty Baker stalled on the front stretch for a lap 13 caution flag. With the "Texas" restart format of the leader on the front row alone, Corn was stuck on the inside of Row 2 and lost second to Stone. Stone pressured Stanford hard until making a low move in Turn 2 of the 18th lap for the lead. Stone would score the point lead gaining victory ahead of Stanford, Corn, Jim Myers and Kurtis Moore.

Some exciting six lap Hobby Stock qualifying heat race action saw O'Hagan battle Carl Tatum to win his heat. Matt Borges passed point leader Red Williams late to win his heat and Rod Lefler was the other heat winner before O'Hagan returned to win the four lap trophy dash. Rookie Roy Luton set the early main event pace ahead of Tim Dean. Krumm made a Turn 4 pass on lap four to take second from Dean. O'Hagan had charged to third by a lap 17 caution flag and took second from Krumm on the restart as Luton continued to set the pace. A low move in Turn 2 of the 11th lap gained O'Hagan the lead from Luton, and Williams made a front stretch pass on Krumm for third on lap 12. Williams gained second a lap later, but he pitted during a lap 15 caution period after Paul Salaiz and Lefler crashed. O'Hagan led Connelly on the restart, and he would hold him off to reclaim second in points with his victory. Krumm finished third ahead of Luton and Mark Odgers.

Rhonda Smith and top five Bakersfield Speedway Hobby stock racer M'Lissa Manzella each won six lap Ladies Super Street Stock heat races. Manzella was making her first Street Stock start in husband Tom Manzella's car and won the four lap trophy dash. However, her night came to an abrupt end with a hard front stretch crash early in the main event. S. Costa set the early main event pace ahead of Tanya Shelton and Denise Clay. The lead three ran in that order until Alisha Costa slipped past Clay for third on lap 13. A caution flag flew at that point for Smith's spin in Turn 2. S. Costa led Shelton and A. Costa on the restart. A. Costa made an inside move on the back stretch of the 16th lap to take second from Shelton, and Shelton would spin on the back stretch and get hit head on by Kelly Maples. The race was ended there with S. Costa winning ahead of A. Costa, Stone, Clay and Shelton.
