Craftsman Tool Boxes went to all the main event winners at Magic Valley Speedway Saturday night.
Craftsman presented great racing action at Magic Valley Speedway with the Mountain Dew Modifieds, Budweiser Grand National Sportsman, NAPA Auto Parts Pony Stocks and the Super Mini Cup cars making the tow from Salt Lake City’s Rocky Mountain Raceway. Modified point leader Bruce Quale made his way to the front of the field on lap 15 of the 40 lap main event and never looked back with defending Champion Steve Jones making his way into the second spot. Rookie driver Rob Vest held on for third with last week’s winner Rick Corbridge all over his rear bumper. The Grand National Sportsman race was all Dale Miles leading the way to the Checkered flag followed by a great field of cars including several Thunder Stock driver’s who took advantage of the night off, picked up a Sportsman legal car and joined the field. Point leader Alan Larson finally found his way back to the winner’s circle after several weeks of handling problems. Nathan Christensen’s tow to the Magic Valley was all worth it as he took the main event win in the Super Mini Cup class after a dominating pass late in the race.
