Victory was the cry from Roger Drake and JJ Hamilton as both drivers took their first wins of the season. Roger Drake got the pole position in the Late Model Super Stocks and from then on, didn’t look back. Drake, of Everett, led all 100 laps of the main event. Close behind him and hungry for a win was Mike Olson of Puyallup. Olson timed in the quickest with 14.36 seconds around the 3/8-mile oval. Finishing third was Joe Constance with Curby Kirkendall and Randy Dalebout in tow. Dalebout, Of Olympia, was the winner of the trophy dash earlier in the evening. Point leader Bob Presley of Olympia had unfortunate luck and was unable to finish the race.

In the Top Notch Trailer Street Stocks, JJ Hamilton of Centralia, took a lead after only three laps and stayed there for the remaining 32. This was Hamilton’s first win of his Rookie Street Stock season. Winning the trophy dash was track record holder Scott Zahn. Brad Borton of Graham won the B-heat race while the returning Brian Boman of Rochester finished top in the A-heat. Finishing second in the main was David Knittle of Lacey followed by Nick Behn. Behn took double duty with running the Sportsman and the Street Stocks. Zahn finished in fourth with Dave McCaslin of Olympia in fifth. Fastest qualifier Joe Swanson of Gresham, Oregon took the 6th spot leaving Jim Jussila of Centralia in seventh.

Marc Beebe pulled out a hat trick in the Sportsman division. Beebe won the trophy dash, heat and main. Following Beebe for second in the main was Nick Behn, Mike Walters, Greg Martinell and Tommy Rasmussen rounding out the top five.

Jim Milligan Jr. was victorious in the Outlaw Compacts. He won the A-heat race, the main event and qualified fastest.
