USG Night Saturday at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to Decide 2011 NASCAR Whelen All-american Series Season Champions

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — The Bullring, Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s NASCAR-sanctioned 3/8-mile asphalt oval, will present USG Night at the Races on Saturday, Oct. 1. It is the final points night for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series MetroPCS Super Late Models, Chargers and Bombers and champions will be crowned in all three divisions. Current Bullring NASCAR point leaders are Scott Gafforini (MetroPCS Super Late Models), James Wingard (just 14 ahead of Don Sargent in the Charger division) and Pete Meyer (Bombers).

Also on Saturday night’s race card: twin 30-lap USAC Focus Midget features, USAC Young Gun Midgets, Legend Cars, Bandoleros and Roadsters.

Spectator gates will open at 5 p.m. Race fans can save money by purchasing tickets in advance at the LVMS ticket office or by calling (702) 644-4444.

The Bullring's concession stand offers a family-friendly dollar menu, including: $1 hot dogs, $1 Coca-Cola products and $1 Bud or Bud Light 12 oz. drafts.

General-admission parking always is free. Fans viewing the races in the Stockyard are invited to listen to the announcers on 101.5 FM.
