DAYTONA BEACH, Florida — It was the final weekend for ASA Member Tracks to submit results for the Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil ASA Member Track National Championship. The ASA NSRA Series had a history making event this past Saturday night and the ASA Midwest Truck Tour saw its largest truck count for their event.

ASA SANCTIONED SERIES
Firebird International Raceway (Chandler, AZ)
It was a hot fun weekend of road course racing. Winners in the Closed Wheel Race Cars were: GTO – Chad Nelson, GTR – Bryan McCormick, GTU – Bill Gibson, PS0 – Jay Horak, PS2 – Leroy Moore, Street Stock Mustang – Jeff Bawden. Open Wheel Race Cars: CSR – Elliot Freireich, EFF – Tom Kaminsky, FST – Greg Sayers. Karts: Shifter – Darren Young, SPR – Sheldon Randolph, and TAG – Austin Spalla.
ASA IRA SPRINT CAR SERIES
Wilmot Raceway (Wilmot, WI)
Mother Nature forced officials to cancel their event this past Saturday night at Wilmot Raceway. The event will not be re-scheduled.
ASA NORTHWEST SPRINT CAR RACING ASSOCIATION SPRINT CAR SERIES
Douglas County Speedway (Roseburg, OR)
The season finale was held this past Saturday night with Johnny Giesler holding off Jeff Montgomery and Matt Hein for the win. Sierra Jackson finished tenth and that was enough for her to become the first female ASA NSRA Series Champion as she held off Heing and Andy Alberding for the title.
ASA MIDWEST TRUCK TOUR
Madison International Speedway (Oregon, WI)
A total of 19 trucks took the green flag for the 40-lap feature event this past Saturday night. Dan Lensing would take over the lead from Jerry Wood on lap 24 and he would hold off Wood and Rick Corso for his first ASA Midwest Truck Tour win. Jerry Wood now holds a three-point lead over Austin Luedtke heading to their season finale on October 9 at the 42nd Annual Oktoberfest Race Weekend in West Salem, WI.
ASA MEMBER TRACKS
ACE SPEEDWAY (Altamahaw, NC)
Jeb Burton held off Barry Beggarly to win the 100-lap Late Model feature this past Saturday night. Beggarly’s second place finish secured him the 2011 track championship. Brian King won both of the twin 20-lap feature races while Gary Young Jr. won the championship. Brian McDonald won in the Mini-Truck championship while Junior Chriscoe won the championship. Robert Grimes won the Street Stock main event while Clyde Johnson borrowed a car to secure the track championship.
BIG COUNTRY SPEEDWAY (Cheyenne, WY)

CORPUS CHRISTI SPEEDWAY (Corpus Christi, TX)
Corpus Christi Speedway was off this past Saturday night but will be back in action on Saturday, October 1.
DESOTO SUPER SPEEDWAY (Bradenton, FL)
Travis Roland held off Dalton Baldwin to win the Open Wheel Modified feature this past Saturday night. Nick Hernandez won the DS Truck feature event. Robbie Storer won in the Modified Minis. Bruce Carbone took another win in the Mini Stocks. Chase Hoffman won in the Flyin 4’s. Jason Godwin won in the Trophy Dash cars and Brooke Storer won in the Rookie Trucks.
DILLON MOTOR SPEEDWAY (Dillon, SC)
Robert Powell held off John Lane to win the Late Models feature on Sunday afternoon. Ricky Locklair won in the Street Stocks. Kevin Jackson took the checkers in the 4-Cylinders. Mike Watts won in the Chargers and Billy Gomez won in the Legends.
EAST BAY RACEWAY PARK (Tampa, FL)
Buzzie Reutimann held off a pack of Modifieds to take the big feature win this past Saturday night. Donnie Reed won in the Street Stocks. Tommy Zwally won in the Old Time Mods. Scotty Williams passed JR Prather, Jr. in the closing laps to win the Limited Late Model main event. Raymond Vann won in the 4-Cylinder Bombers.
HARTFORD MOTOR SPEEDWAY (Hartford, MI)
Joey Saldana made his comeback complete by winning the World of Outlaw sprint car event last Wednesday night.
HAVASU 95 SPEEDWAY (Lake Havasu City, AZ)
A great crowd was on hand for their opening night this past Saturday. Mike Sutterfield took the win in the Late Models. Rick Zirges was the big winner in the Street Stocks. Brent Delay took the checkers in the Factory Stocks. Team Monte Carlo with Larry Gerchman behind the wheel won the first ever Team Factory Stocks feature.
I-25 SPEEDWAY (Pueblo, CO)
Dan Alamaa held off Dean Olsen and Jeff Larsen Jr. to win the Grand American Modified feature this past Saturday night. Ethan Hunter won the Sportsman feature. Brandon Dimmick won in the Mini Stocks. Cole Roberson won in the Street Stocks and Mike Maldonado Jr. won in the Charger Figure 8’s.
LONESOME PINE RACEWAY (Coeburn, VA)
Lonesome Pine Raceway hosted the Crash-A-Rama this past Saturday night. Results were not received by press time.
SOUTHERN OREGON SPEEDWAY (Medford, OR)
Rich Papenhausen held off Andy Obertello by 0.333 seconds to win the Battle of the Borders Late Model event this past Saturday night. Eric Aos won the Modified Super 4 main event. Rob Mayea held off Obertello to win the 30-lap main on Friday night. Skipper Klimcheck won the Modified Super 4 on Friday night.
VIRGINIA MOTOR SPEEDWAY (Jamaica, VA)
Season Championships were rained out this past Saturday night.
WILMOT RACEWAY (Wilmot, WI)
Events from this past Saturday night were rained out.
