
This Saturday’s SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series “THUNDER VALLEY Casino Resort 135 presented by AmeriPride Uniform Services” at All-American Speedway in Roseville, CA will mark the sixth consecutive time the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series has been paired up with the NASCAR K&N Pro Series for one night of competition. All-American Speedway will also host NASCAR Late Models and Modifieds on Friday night.

General admission for Friday is $15 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets for Saturday night’s race are $30 in advance and $35 on Saturday. Juniors ages 6-11 are $15, and kids 5 and under get in free. VIP hospitality tickets are $65 in advance and $70 on Saturday. Gates open at 4pm each day.
SRL NOTES OF INTEREST:
• Four drivers will pull double duty this weekend driving in both the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series and K&N Pro Series; Jacob Gomes, Eric Holmes, Derek Thorn and Eagle, Idaho’s John Wood.
• Winner’s share of the prize money for the “THUNDER VALLEY Casino Resort 135 presented by AmeriPride Uniform Services” will be $4,000.
• Defending race winner is Eric Holmes, who made a late race pass on Dan Holtz for the lead in the final three laps of last year’s race.
• Three former SPEARS Southwest Tour Series champions have submitted entries for Saturday’s event: Dave Byrd – 2007, Jim Pettit II – 2008, and M.K. Kanke – 2009.
• Past SRL ‘All-American Speedway’ Winners – Troy Ermish (2008), M.K. Kanke (2009), Derek Thorn (April 2010 & April 2011) and Eric Holmes (Oct. 2010).
• Drivers making a return to the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series this Saturday night include; Michelle Nagai, Brennan Newberry, Bobby Hodges, Zane Lovelace, and Jeff Oleen from Bethseda, Maryland.
• 2011 Airport Auto Brokers Late Model Series champion Trevor Cristiani, and NASCAR Southwest Tour ‘ironman’ Bob Lyon will be making their SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series debuts at the “THUNDER VALLEY Casino Resort 135 presented by AmeriPride Uniform Services” this Saturday night.
• “Cowboy” Kenny Bartram and his Steel Rodeo, an X Games freestyle moto-X show, will perform both nights. Bartram is a winner of seven International Freestyle Motocross Association world championships, a Dew Tour title, 10 medals from the X and Gravity Games.
