CHOWCHILLA, California — It is almost time for the best trick or treat experience available for the little race fans as the 3rd annual Pumpkin CUP is set for October 29th at the Chowchilla Speedway. The Pumpkin CUP features a hayride in which all of the children from the grandstands go into the pits and trick or treat from race car trailer to trailer from some of the biggest names in the racing business.

As a bonus this year there will be a “Trunk or Treat” for the little ones on the fairgrounds just before they enter the speedway. There will also be the annual Chowtown costume contest, so there will be plenty of fun and candy for our little ghosts and goblins.
On the racing side the Pumpkin CUP has grown into a big time open wheel event featuring 360 winged sprint cars, open spec sprint non-winged sprint cars, BCRA Midgets, and BCRA Midget lites. So if you are a fan of sprint cars and midget racing this is going to be a great racing event for you.
Grandstands open at 4pm on October 29th, with the racing action beginning at 5pm. Adults tickets are $20, youth 6-12 are only $7, and kids five and under are free! Family packs are $45, this is for two adults and two youth. Check out racechowchilla.com for more information.
