DAYTONA BEACH, Florida — The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West visits Stockton (Calif.) 99 Speedway on Saturday, May 5. Below is a statistical look at the performance of selected drivers in series action:

NASCAR K&N PRO SERIES WEST AT STOCKTON

Stockton 99 Speedway has hosted 21 series races. The series visited the historic quarter-mile oval 13 times between 1966 and 1983. After returning in 2002, the series competed there eight more times through 2006.

• Stockton 99 Speedway was built in 1947. At the end of the 2006 season, the track closed and the land was slated for development. But the transaction was not completed and the track re-opened in 2009.

• The 21 series races at Stockton featured 12 different winners. The late Jack McCoy leads the list with five wins. Other multiple winners include 2007 series champion Mike David, with three wins; and Dick Bown, Jim Bown and Austin Cameron, with two wins each.

• Fourteen different drivers won Coors Light Pole Awards at Stockton. McCoy also leads that list with five poles. Others with more than one pole award at Stockton include Jim Bown, Mike Duncan and Scott Lynch – each with two poles.

• Mike David registered six top-five and eight top-10 finishes at Stockton, the most there for each category in the modern era of series (1971-present). He also led 404 laps, the most in series competition at Stockton in the modern era of the series.

• Mike David, Mike Duncan, Scott Gaylord and Jack Sellers are the only drivers to compete in all eight series events between 2002 and 2006.

• Five of the eight races at Stockton between 2002 and 2006 were extended for a green-white-checkered finish.

• Seven of the 17 series races at Stockton in the modern era were won from the pole position. Jack McCoy came from the furthest back to win in the modern era, starting seventh in 1971.

• One hundred forty-eight different drivers raced at Stockton in the modern era of the series.
