Friday Night Under The Lights at Spokane County Raceway

It was a cold and windy opener at the super oval tonight, we want to thank all the spectators, racers and track crew for setting the stage for a great 2012 season at the half mile race track tonight. Gusty winds and frigid temperatures were no match for the race fans tonight as drivers put on a show that displayed only two cautions all night.

Reesen Tarr driver of the #91 road runner opened the night with a spectacular performance to take the 20 lap first main event of the season.

Making her return for the second year now the popular fan favourite Nicole Behar patiently drove her #33 Pony Stock through the field and bring home her first main event win in the 2012 season.

The Motion Auto Supply Bump to Pass drivers did not let there fans down as they put on a spectacular show for all the fans who braved the weather tonight as Deputy Dounut and his bump to pass police car played havick to all the drivers. Congragulations to the Wenatchee driver Randy Adams on a fine first place win in the main event.

Next racing action is Saturday night with the ICAR Late Models, Hobby Stocks and Bump To Pass get set to tackle the Super Oval. Racing action starts at 7:15PM Qualifying 6:00 sharp. Pit Gate opens at noon, spectator gate at 5:00PM.
