A $500 start bonus has been added to the purse for any teams not moving on to the Summer Showdown from the Last Chance Qualifier. With calls coming from Southern California to the upper reaches of Canada, the international star studded event should have in excess of 40 cars entered. Add in the 40+ cars coming with the Pro 4 Alliance and the other divisions scheduled, over 150 race cars will be competing over the two days. The fans have asked for this type of event and we listened.”
