"I feel like my bad luck is finally gone!" Jack Madrid screamed over his radio as he won for the first time in his #9 Linny White prepared Superlate model. Over the last 18 months, Jack has been fighting near the top 5 of every race since Linny began setting up Madrid's race cars. "Between blown motors, contact, flat tires and everything else, I was beginning to wonder when I'd be back in victory circle. Tonight the car was absolutely perfect. Linny , Sparky and I set a race plan and it worked perfectly."

" I thought it was pretty cool racing with guys that I used to watch when I was racing Legends a few years ago. "Jack Madrid

After setting fast time by two tenth's, Madrid finally got a good draw on the invert with a 3rd place starting position. The race was fast and furious with Chris Clyne and Gafforini for the first half of the race. " I thought it was pretty cool racing with guys that I used to watch when I was racing Legends a few years ago. I learned a lot from following Gafforini." Toward the end of the race, Madrid built a lead of almost a straightaway until the final yellow flew creating a green, white, checkered finish. He did a great job on the restart and pulled into Victory circle with a greatly deserved win.

Madrid has had some good luck, last October he was invited to test with NASCAR's Diversity team, Rev Racing in Langley Virgina. "I had a great time testing with the team and I'm hoping to test again with them in October".

With every racer, there's a team that works together very hard behind the scenes to enable drivers an opportunity to perform at their best. "I want to give a big shout to Linny because he has really given me confidence in my racing ability by setting up my car like no other. Robert "Sparky" Riddering has been my spotter for a year and he does an incredible job. And the rest of the guys that have helped me over the last year, Jeff, James, Wes, and Mr. White, a big thank you to you all".

Madrid's team, MadJack Motorsports would like to thank Davis BluePrint for helping out this year. For interested sponsorship inquiries, please contact Madrid at jack91@jackmadrid.com
