LAS VEGAS – The Bullring, Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s 3/8-mile asphalt oval, will feature a unique evening of racing entertainment Saturday.

A jumbo TV screen will be placed in the grass behind the main grandstand and fans are invited to watch the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race from Richmond, Va., picnic-style. The race, which begins at 4 p.m., is the final regular-season NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event before the Chase for the Championship begins. The first 200 fans through the general admission entry gate will receive free popcorn and Coca-Cola. Spectator gates will open at 4 p.m. for this special evening.

The annual Keith Danser Kids’ Candy Toss will take place on Saturday, with free candy for young fans courtesy Ed “Outlaw” Jones and his Jelly Belly wheelstander.

Classes in competition Saturday night include: NASCAR Super Late Models, NASCAR Super Stocks, NASCAR Bombers, the Spears SRL Southwest Tour, USLCI Thunder Cars, American Band Legend Cars and Silver Star Plumbing Bandoleros. Opening ceremonies will begin at 7 p.m.

Fans may save $2 on adult, senior citizen and military personnel tickets by purchasing them in advance at the LVMS ticket office, by telephone at (702) 644-4444 or online at

www.LVMS.com. General admission parking always is free.

The Bullring’s concession stand offers a family-friendly dollar menu, featuring $1 hot dogs and $1 Coca-Cola products.

Saturday, Sept. 8 – NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, Spears SRL Southwest Tour, Keith Danser Kids’ Candy Toss, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race viewing party.

4 p.m. – Spectator gates open, NASCAR viewing party begins.

4:35 p.m. – Drivers’ meeting.

5 p.m.

Thunder Car group qualifying (3 laps).

Bandolero group qualifying (3 laps).

Legend Cars group qualifying (3 laps).

Super Late Model qualifying (single car).

Super Stock heat races (8 laps).

Bomber heat races (8 laps).

6 p.m. – Spears SRL Southwest Tour qualifying (single car).

6:30 p.m. – Legend Cars B-feature or Semi-Pro/Young Lions feature (if needed).

7 p.m.

Opening ceremonies, national anthem.

USLCI Thunder Car feature (20 laps or 20 min.).

Silver Star Plumbing Bandolero Outlaws feature (12 laps or 12 min.).

Silver Star Plumbing Bandolero Bandits feature (12 laps or 12 min.).

NASCAR Super Stock feature (25 laps or 25 min.).

NASCAR Bomber feature (25 laps or 25 min.).

Keith Danser Kids Candy Toss, Ed “The Outlaw” Jones’ Jelly Belly wheelstander.

Spears SRL Southwest Tour feature: Century Boatland 125.

American Band Legend Cars feature (25 laps or 25 min.).

Admission:

Adult advance: $10.

Adult day-of-show: $12.

Senior citizens and military personnel advance: $8.

Senior citizens and military personnel day-of-show: $10.

Kids (ages 6-14): $6.

Kids 5 and under: Free.
