BANKS, Oregon — With seven point races recorded in the books the inaugural season for the Northwest Extreme Sprint Car Series looks to come to a close on Saturday September 22nd at Sunset Speedway Park. Five different winners have managed to grace victory lane in the seven races.
Mitch Hoffsess has boasted a perfect record thus far as he has won two races in his first two starts ever in a Sprint Car. Ariel Biggs has also managed to wins to her name while drivers with a single victory include Ricky Ashley, Sammy Wright, and Ryan Bothwell in point action. Jeff Westergard managed to earn a non-point victory back in July.
The Sunset Speedway Park is located just west of the Portland metro area in Banks on the Sunset Highway. The venue is located in a gorgeous small town setting with rolling hills in the background and hosts weekly competition with Northwest Extreme Sprint Car Series, Northwest Wingless Tour, USRA Modifieds, Street Stocks, 4-Bees, Pure Stocks, Womens, and Tracers classes.
