" Final race for Coors Light bonus bucks in 5th Annual Pumpkin Smash at the Madera Speedway!"

The Coors Light Late Model Series has been a huge success at the Madera Speedway with large car counts and four different winners in five races.

It has become not only one of the best displays of new talent, but has also gained a reputation as one of the most action packed classes for fans to enjoy. Now there is even more at stake with a $1,000 bonus for the last race to spice this class up even more!

According to CEO of Short Track Management Kenny Shepherd, the Coors Light Late Model Series is a six-race series designed to allow a wide variety of stock cars to compete in $1,000 to win race events. The Series Champion will receive a beautiful five foot tall Coors Light Championship Trophy and the honors of being one of the best racing talents on the West Coast.

"There is $1,000 of bonus money up for grabs during the Coors Light Championship race for the series," Shepherd said. "Here is how it is paid out; first, if anyone of the drivers in the top three in points wins the race, they take the bonus $1,000 in addition to the $1,000 to win for a total of $2,000 to win on Saturday. Second, if none of the top three in points wins Saturdays race, then the $1,000 bonus fund is up for grabs and the top ten drivers that attended all five Coors Light Late Model Series races leading up to championship night will have a shot at it. The highest eligible finisher in the October 20th race will receive a $500 bonus, the second highest finisher will receive a $300 bonus, and the third highest finisher will receive a $200 bonus."

The drivers eligible for the Coors Light Bonus Bucks are; Dallas Montes 230 points, Matt Erickson 228 points, Kenny Smith 212 Points, Dale Kascht 166, Rick Thompson 158, Trevor Schlundt 157, Ronnie Roberts 154, Brian Herzog 128

If anyone of the top three drivers in points wins the race, Montes, Erickson, or Smith, they take home $2,000 for the win ($1,000 race win, and $1,000 bonus bucks). If none of them wins the Championship race, then all eight of the above drivers will have a shot at the Coors Light Bonus Bucks.

Montes, Erickson and Andrew Murray along with Cole Custer all have wins at the Madera Speedway this season. Custer won the previous race on September 22 and has two main wins this season on the "Fastest 1/3 Mile in the West."

This is one great night of action and fun for the entire family. Adult tickets are only $15, seniors and military are $13, youth ages 6-12 are only $10, and kids five and under are free.

Grandstands open at 1:30, racing action begins at 3pm and the PUMPKIN SMASH hayride and trick-or treat begins at 6-6:30pm with the crazy racing in the SMASH to follow.
