JOE BEAN & ALBERTSON'S TEAM UP

Performance Motorsports and Joe Bean announced that they have secured the sponsorship of Albertson's Supermarkets,Trench Shoring Co., King Taco Restaurants, Coca Cola and Rudolph Foods for the season finale race at Irwindale Speedway. Joe will drive the familiar # 77 2001 Ford Taurus. The paint scheme will be the same one the team sported at Las Vegas Speedway. "The car looks like an American Flag with a mural of the New York Firefighters raising the flag over the ruins of Twin Towers. We feel that we can do this to let our race fans know that we support our President and our country during this national crisis." said Joe Bean. "With our country getting back on track,(no pun intended) we can show the world that freedom still rings true for Americans."

The Performance Motorsports race shop was a hot bed of activity this past week with the arrival of Neville Lance #07 and crew from Australia, Bobby Dotter #87 and Gene Christiansen from North Carolina, Doug Bland #14 from Daytona Beach and Kazuki Saito #18 from Japan. It was a virtual United Nations meeting with all the different countries represented.

All five Winston West cars will also be sporting King Taco Restaurants. King Taco Restaurants is a family owned chain of 23 restaurants located throughout Southern California.

Make sure that you come down into the pits after the race to see all these drivers.

As the season ends, Performance Motorsports would like to thank all their fans, sponsors and families for their support this year in this Premier Racing Division. Without the support of all these people, it would not be possible.
