BRANDON WHITT READY TO ROLL FOR 2002 FEATHERLITE SOUTHWEST TOUR SEASON

El Cajon, CA---Young Brandon Whiit of El Cajon, CA returns to the asphalt this season competing in the 2002 NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Tour Series. Whitt traveled to several tracks last year in preparation for this year's campaign. One of his final stops for 2001 was the popular 3/8-mile Las Vegas Bullring where Whitt finished his exciting season with a win at the Bullring last November in his STR Monte Carlo. 19-year old Whitt is setting his goal on Rookie of the Year for the 2002 NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Tour series along with selected Late Model races and some undetermined testing dates in other areas.

Team Clean Line Motorsports has secured MOEN, the world's largest and the #1 supplier of faucets in North America, as their major sponsor for 2002 and look forward to rewarding relationship with MOEN and Steve Teets, owner of STR in 2002.

Brandon Whitt and Clean Line Motorsports took the #28 MOEN, STR, 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo to the 1-mile Phoenix International Raceway for testing in preparation for the NASCAR Winter Heat race February 2 and are happy with their test session. "We feel confident that Brandon will be competitive in the 2002 series while focusing on Rookie of the Year," quoted owner Dan Whitt. Along with a group experienced crew members, Team Clean Line has crew chief and STR owner, Steve Teets heading the pits. Teets will be joined by Ron Esau. Both Teets and Esau have the Southwest Tour experience required and will be guiding young Whitt during the season.

This season is a change in direction from Brandon Whitt's past racing experience. Talented Brandon Whitt competed in his early teens in karts throughout North America then moved to France in 2000 to compete in the well known Elf/La Filiere Championship along with a select Formula Renault races in England.

Brandon Whitt is the grandson of Jim Whitt, former 1969 Cajon Speedway Super Stock Champion and early Riverside International Raceway regular and the nephew of Tobin Whitt, 1989 Cajon Speedway Sportsman Champion.

Team Clean Line is also looking for additional corporate sponsors for the 2002 run. Contact Donnie Graves at (323) 874-9559 or gravespms@aol.com and check out www.brandonwhitt.com for further information and updates.####
