SANTEE, CA.-- Racing comes in all scales. March 17, 2002 a new track had it's Grand Opening in Santee, CA. This track had a great turn out of people. Thanks to Brandon Whitt and his Cleanline Racing team NASCAR Southwest Tour car, and Corky McMilin's Off Road Car. Even with Cleanline's busy schedule this weekend Brandon Whitt and Team Owners brought out there car and displayed it on the northwest corner of Carlton Hills and Mast Blvd. Brandon Whitt's (Shockman and 1986 Inaugural NASCAR Southwest Tour Champion) Ron Esau was also at the Grand Opening signing cards and helping people start racing.

Santee Model Car Raceway, race 24th scale NASCAR Type cars and 24th scale Wing car. They give everyone 15 minutes of free track and car rental and were busy from 10 am to 10 pm on two tracks. One super fast King Corba design and one Hill Climb. Soon they are building a 32nd Scale track.

The first wing car race was Wednesday Evenings 7:30 pm was won by 10 plus year veteran Chuck Panno, but not far behind was Brandon Whitt, Brain S. and Ron Esau. The Qualifying fast time on this track was 2.83 seconds.####
