RANDY BROWN DOMINATES

Sante Fe Springs, California.....April 1st, 2002.....Randy Brown dominates the "Bullring" at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the second of a sixteen race schedule on FOX Sports for the Mechanix Wear Speed Truck Challenge.

Back to back wins for Randy Brown launches his bid for the coveted 2002 Championship "golden ring." After a dominating win leading all 100 laps on March 30th, as he did on March 16th, the West Covina youngster qualified first, and won the Trophy Dash. Starting in the fifth position from a five truck inversion of the field, Randy took the green flag and got a good run off of turn two passing a couple of trucks in the back straight and drove into a hole in the bottom turn three when the leaders slid up and carried his momentum through four and took the lead on the first lap. Randy never looked back and again led all 100 laps to the win the feature at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway "Bullring".

"With the five yellow flags during the race the Luke's Transmission Service tranny allowed me to shift without lifting on re-starts and killing the competition." Stated Randy Brown. "The Rich's Motorsports set up was the key to our back to back victories as my truck would work anywhere I need to go. I can't believe we have raced two races and 200 laps in 2002 and I have led everyone of them, it's like a dream come true. I want to thank Mechanix Wear for their continued support to the Speed Truck Challenge and special thanks to Jay Rutherford for the awesome television shows on FOX Sports. I want to thank my Dad [Bob Brown] and my crew, Steve Richardson, Herman Snook, David Lindow, Steve Newton for their continued hard work and making me look good on television. I also want to thank Bar Glo Welding, Haz Mat Backhoe, Luke's Transmission Service, Pennzoil and Good Graphx." Randy concluded.

April 13th will see Randy Brown and team RB3 Racing return to the "Bullring" for round three of yet another 100 lap event for the Mechanix Wear Speed Truck Challenge as the opening show for the Orleans 222 lap race for NASCAR Winston West.
