Sante Fe Springs, California......April 15th, 2002......Randy Brown and Team RB3 Racing continue domination of the "Bullring" at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, winning the first three of the sixteen race schedule for the Mechanix Wear Speed Truck Challenge.

"I just can't believe this, states Randy Brown the 18 year old Covina resident, "We were hoping for a few wins this year but never expected to win the first three in a row at the 'Bullring,' and to lead every lap of all three races, it's just amazing." "Last year our luck was terrible but things have certainly turned around for us. We had trouble during the Friday night practice with an oil leak that we just couldn't find as it would come and go. We were down one crew member but kept working as hard as we could and finally repaired the problem but missed lots of critical practice time. We thought our luck was going away and could only qualify sixth fast and then things turned again with fast qualifier Troy Decuir rolling a six on the dice for inversion and placing me on the pole of the 26 Speed Truck field. I knew we would be good for the 100 lap main as our luck had returned."My Speed Truck has been awesome this year and I want to thank Rich's Motorsports for the set up that has been perfect every race. I also want to thank my dad and my crew for their continued hard work. I just can't say enough about our team and their abilities in giving my what I want and need every race." Randy concluded.

The 100 lap main event was shortened to 88 laps as a late race yellow was displayed for track clean up from an exploded quick change oil cooler after an incident in turn three. The Winston West race had to start at 8:00 PM and the track was oiled down so the decision was made to end the race under yellow preventing a green, white checker with poor track conditions.
