DRIVERS PARTICIPATE IN STOCKTON AUTOGRAPH SESSION

Stockton, Calif. (April 26, 2002) More than 400 fans braved unseasonably cool temperatures to welcome the return of the Featherlite Southwest Series, NASCAR Touring drivers at a special autograph session Friday evening at the Graduate Restaurant in Stockton. Ten drivers were on hand to welcome fans and sign autographs at Stockton landmark eatery, including Adam Andretti, a rising star on the Featherlite Southwest Series. Other drivers included sophomore sensation Burney Lamar of Sacramento, Steve Belletto of Modesto, Mike Ledbetter of Ceres, Calif., Sean Monroe, and Rookie contender Brandon Whitt of El Cajon, Calif. Fans received Fan stickers and several racing giveaways in appreciation for there attendance. The Featherlite Southwest Series returns to Stockton 99 Speedway on Saturday, April 27 after a six year hiatus for the running of the Stockton "125". More than 40 cars have registered for the event making it the largest special event this season. Racing gets underway with time trials at 5:30 and racing at 7:00 pm.
