MOORESVILLE, North Carolina -- Billy Ballew Motorsports has secured associate sponsorship from Blackhawk Group LLC, a Mooresville, NC based security and investigation services group. Blackhawk Group LLC will provide security services for Ballew's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team that fields the No. 15 Ford F-150 driven by Rich Bickle.
"After the recent burglary at our Mooresville race shop, we knew we had to take additional steps to provide more protection for our assets and equipment," stated Ballew. "We suffered a significant financial loss and we simply cannot afford to take any chances on something like that happening again. This is a great partnership for both Blackhawk LLC and Billy Ballew Motorsports. They get the exposure provided by the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and we get piece of mind of knowing our facility and equipment is secure."
Ballew's team has made an impressive move up in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series point's ladder since putting Bickle behind the wheel. In three events, Bickle has averaged a 10th-place finish including a season-best sixth at Memphis .The team has jumped five positions from 22nd to 17th in the NCTS championship chase and currently sits just three points out 16th.
