POTASHNICK TO RUN NASCAR BUSCH SERIES RACE AT GATEWAY INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Sammy Potashnick is gearing up to be the driver of Jay Robinson's NASCAR Busch Series No. 49 car next weekend in the Charter Pipeline 250 at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Ill.

Potashnick, who will make his Busch Series debut, has been racing since 1996 in the ARCA RE/MAX Series, the USAR Hooter's Pro Cup Series, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, the NASCAR Winston West Series, and the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series Late Model Division.

Potashnick's most recent career highlights include winning the NASCAR Winston West Series Bank One 250 in Salt Lake City, Utah, winning a NASCAR Weekly Racing Series Late Model Division race at Mesa Marin Raceway in Bakersfield, Calif., and finishing 2nd at the NASCAR Winston West Series race held this February at Phoenix International Raceway in Phoenix, Ariz. As a result of qualifying on the pole at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, USA International Speedway, and Irwindale Speedway, Potashnick has held three different track records.

Potashnick has one previous start at Gateway International Raceway in the ARCA RE/MAX Series where he qualified 3rd. He is looking forward to this opportunity to drive for Jay Robinson Racing.

The race will be on Saturday, July 20, at 8:00 p.m. (EST) and will be aired live on TNT. MRN Radio will also start a live broadcast at 7:30 p.m. (EST). For more information, log onto www.Sammy65.com and to www.JayRobinson.com.####
