
FOUNTAIN, Colorado -- Sammy Potashnick is geared up to run his second NASCAR Busch Series race this Saturday at the Pikes Peak International Raceway Net Zero 250.
Potashnick made his first NASCAR Busch Series effort last weekend at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Ill. As the driver for Jay Robinson Racing?s No. 49 car, Potashnick completed the race in 30th place after suffering the effects of engine setbacks.
Potashnick will head onto the one-mile oval at Pikes Peak as his next outing with Jay Robinson Racing. Potashnick has raced at Pikes Peak previously in the NASCAR Winston West Series against the likes of such drivers as NASCAR Winston Cup Series Veterans Michael Waltrip and Ken Schrader. He is looking forward to returning to the track where he has garnered one top-10 finish.
