LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Saturday is Hawaiian Night at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for The Orleans NASCAR Weekly Racing Series presented by Dodge, which has established later starting times for the month of August.
Due to the hot August nights, spectator gates open at 6:30 p.m. and racing begins at 7:30 for the next three races.
The first 450 fans through the main gate and 50 through the Stockyard gate will receive an Hawaiian lei. Race fans are encouraged to wear Hawaiian attire and sign up for the Hula Hoop contest in which the winner will receive a pair of Las Vegas 350 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series tickets.
In addition, the "Bullring 8" will be featured. Eight lucky fans will be paired with the top eight NASCAR Late Model qualifiers. If your driver wins the main event, you win 12 Bullring suite tickets for an upcoming race.
On the racing card is NASCAR Late Models (40 laps), NASCAR Outlaw Stocks (twin 25ís), NASCAR Chargers (20 laps), Legends Cars (25 laps), Bandolero Cars (10 laps), Bullring Bombers (40 laps) and Thunder Roadsters (15 laps).
Spectator gates open at 6:30 p.m. Racing begins at 7:30 p.m. General admission is $12 for adults, $10 for senior citizens/ military personnel and $3 for children 6-12. Children five and under are free. A Family Four Pack can be purchased for $25. Admission to the Stockyard is $35 per vehicle (up to four people).
Pit gates open at 4 p.m. Admission to the pits is $20 for NASCAR members and $25 for non-members.
