After leading the first 23 laps of the 26 lapper at Mosport, Moses was more than a little disappointed at the outcome of the event.
Having qualified second in the field of 23 Star Mazda participants, Moses, who stormed into the lead with an impressive maneuver into turn one at the start, dashed into the lead, and stayed in that position for the majority of the race.
As Moses explained, "Guy and I were having a pretty good fight but I was able to keep him behind me. Then a car that had pitted with mechanical problems came back out on track in front of me and dropped oil from his gearbox on the line. As luck would have it, I was the first car through and when I got caught out, Guy was able to slip past."
With three laps to go, watching from the monitor, it appeared that Moses would be able to mount a successful attack to regain the lead. Unfortunately, a lap traffic vehicle came out of nowhere, and cut across Moses' line, and again hindered his momentum.
While finishing second was a bit disappointing, Moses' parting words were, "I think we gave the fans one heck of a race today. There was plenty of good clean action. Tell them to watch all the drama on the Speed Channel on September 14th.
