LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- AMA Pro Racing is pleased to announce that AMA members will receive discounted admission of $12 per person to the "Art of the Motorcycle" exhibit at the Guggenheim Las Vegas during the 2002 AMA Pro Awards Banquet, set for Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Venetian Resort Hotel Las Vegas.
This will be a great opportunity for AMA members to take in this incredible exhibition. The exhibit opened in 1988 in the Guggenheim New York to rave reviews. It was praised for its artistic value and drew record attendance to the museum. Subsequent exhibits were in New York, Chicago and Bilbao, Spain. The exhibition displays some of the most important motorcycles since its invention in the late-1800s. The bikes are shown in chronological order and represent the most comprehensive collection of historically significant motorcycles ever shown under one roof. It is a must see for all motorcycle enthusiasts.
AMA members can show their membership card at the museum admission office to receive the discount admission. In addition to the "Art of the Motorcycle", the Guggenheim's Hermitage Museum will also offer discounts to AMA members for its "Art Through the Ages: Masterpieces of Painting from Titian to Picasso" show. These special discounted admissions will be available Friday, November 22 through Sunday, November 24.
