Mike David and Lynch Racing will see Rocky Mountain Raceway for the first time. Lynch Racing has been very busy throughout the last two weeks preparing the InjuryHelpLine.com Ford Taurus to compete at RMR for the Teams first time, in the Young Automotive Group - Winston West 250.
"The whole team is up for this race. Being able to run new tracks and test our skills against the top teams on the west coast, is the reason we decided to run this series full-time this year," Said David. "We know we'll be at a small disadvantage against the teams that have ran or tested at Rocky Mountain, but I feel we're prepared and ready."
"This weekend, winning is still our top goal, but we need to make sure we maintain and grow our lead in the Stage 8 Locking Fasteners rookie standings. Brett Thompson gets around this track well, he won the Bud Poll award last year here and we expect him to be strong. he's only 6 point behind us in the rookie standings."
The Winston West Series will take the to the track at 5:30 PM MT, for qualifying. The Young Automotive Group - Winston West 250 is scheduled to go green at 8:30 PM MT. For those fans who are not able to get Rocky Mountain Raceway in Utah on Saturday for the race, it's scheduled to air, October 7th at 5:00 PM PT on SPEED Channel.
