GLENDALE, California -- Performance Motorsports and the # 77 Winston West Food4Less, King Taco Restaurants, Mission Foods, Lawry's Seasoning Ford Taurus driven by Greg Pursley will make an assault on Rocky Mountain Speedway this Saturday night in the Young Automotive Group 250.

"We are on a "mission" (no pun intended) this weekend. With just three events left on our schedule, it's imperative that we finish well in order to move up in both points battles." said Greg. Pursley sits just 3 points out of the lead in the Stage 8 Rookie of the Year race and just a mere 98 points out of 2nd place in the Winston West Championship hunt.

"At our last race in Stockton, I felt that we had a car that was good enough to get on the podium.Unfortunately I got spun out two times, once by a lapped car and the second time with 10 laps to go. Our car took a real beating up there."

Asked about the controversial pit entrances and exits during the last 2 races Crew Chief Larry Nava added " At least we know where the pit entrance and exits are at Rocky Mountain Raceway. It will be real hard to make up laps or line up behind the leaders after pit stops at this track."####
