Jason Jefferson was able to survive a wild night of racing to win at Tri-City Raceway. The cool weather gave way to scorching tempers as the race was plagued with accidents. But eventual race winner, Jefferson, managed to stay clear of the action and score his first win of the year, and of his young career. The point spread between leader Kevin Hamlin and Gary Lewis is now down to 42 points.
