RICHMOND, Virginia -- A run with potential to be among the best of the year ended in frustration for Matt Crafton in the Virginia is for Lovers 200 NASCAR Truck Series race at the Richmond International Raceway Thursday, September 5. Crafton finished 32nd after involvement in a mid-race crash.

"It's a shame things ended up this way," Crafton said. "The Menards/ColorPave Chevrolet was really good on long runs. I think we had a chance to put a top-10 finish on the board."

Crafton's performance dropped him to 16th in the series point standings.

He was transported to a local hospital for review of a foot injury suffered in the incident. He was released with a sprained foot and is expected to compete when the

NASCAR Truck Series continues with a September 13 race in Roanoke, Texas.####
